Tom Eaton

Tom Eaton is a writer, living in Cape Town. An Act of Murder is the first book in which actor Arnold Prinsloo takes centre stage. Over the past 20 years Tom has been a columnist for the Mail & Guardian, Noseweek, Sunday Times Day and Business Day. He has published three novels – The De Villiers Code, an instant bestseller, Texas and The Wading. He has also written two non-fiction books, The Unauthorised History of South Africa and, Is It Me Or Is It Getting Hot In Here?

He wrote both series of the SAFTA-award winning ‘Shoreline’, as well as co-creating the SABC3 comedy ‘Those Who Can’t’ with Alan Committee, and co-founded Hayibo.com back when fake news was still funny and not deciding elections.
