2026 Festival Information

Where to Eat

Franschhoek is filled with a variety of wonderful restaurants and cafés. Since it's a busy time in the village, we recommend booking your tables in advance to avoid disappointment. For a list of restaurants, visit the Franschhoek Wine Valley website

Where to Stay

From boutique hotels to self-catering cottages and Provençal-style villas, there is a great variety accommodation to choose from for your Festival weekend. Be sure to book as soon as possible. You can find a list via the Franschhoek Wine Valley website.

Parking

Off-street and on-street parking is available within Franschhoek. Please note that the main street is now a paid parking zone.  A municipal parking area is available in Dirkie Uys Street, right next to Hospice Hall.

Food @ the Festival Lawn

Founding sponsor Porcupine Ridge will be serving their easy-drinking wine selection; while you lounge on their giant bean bags, under umbrellas, watching the festival-goers pass by. It’s the ultimate in festival fun and relaxation.

Fri & Sat – last call at 3:30pm
Sun – last call at 2:00pm

Food on the GO @ the Festival Hub

The Festival Hub, situated just outside the Town Hall on the main road, will offer on-the-go food options courtesy of Woolworths and the Wok & Grill food trucks, for those needing to grab a quick-and-easy bite or coffee during breaks or between back-to-back sessions.

Be sure to plan a visit to the Franschhoek Village Market outside Church Hall on Saturday morning, for a wide variety of food and beverages.

Franschhoek has a wonderful selection of local eateries, cafes and restaurants. We encourage festival goers to explore the town, there is something for everyone.
