Formerly the books editor and chief film critic at the Mail & Guardian, he has contributed widely to South African arts and culture journalism. Shaun is the editor of Not the Movie of the Week and has served as a judge for several literary awards. He is currently the books editor at News24, where he continues to champion literature and the arts.
