Shamiso Banda is a researcher, science communicator, and conservationist focused on advancing sustainability literacy and action. She is co-founder and CEO of Articulating Science, a non-profit bridging society, science, and decision-makers for the Sustainable Development Goals. Pursuing a PhD at Stellenbosch University, she studies how digital media can drive engagement with biodiversity and food system challenges. She is also co-author of Birds on the Brink, promoting public engagement with bird conservation in southern Africa.
