Sara-Jayne Makwala King is an award-winning radio host, bestselling author, journalist and MC whose career spans more than 20 years and four continents. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Greenwich and a Master’s degree in Journalism from Canterbury University. Makwala King hosts her own show on CapeTalk, which won the 2024 Telkom Radio Award for Best Weekend Show.
In 2017, she published her debut book, the UJ Literary Award–nominated memoir Killing Karoline. Her second book, the memoir Mad Bad Love, was released in 2022. She is currently working on her third book, a novel.
