Sam Human

Dr Sam Human (PhD) is a South African research psychologist, academic researcher, and author whose work focuses on human behaviour, personality, and the psychological forces that shape individual and societal actions.

She is the author of the non-fiction titles The Most Evil of Them All: When Narcissism Turns Deadly, which examines the role of pathological narcissism in serial murder and violent crime, and Maria’s Keepers: One Woman’s Escape from the Jehovah’s Witnesses Church in South Africa, which documents the psychological and social consequences of leaving a high-control religious community within the context of understanding cult theory.

She is also qualified neuro-linguistics practitioner and runs her own NLP practice, reflecting a strong interest in the intersection of psychology, therapy, and the ‘lived’ human experience.
