Natasha Lyon holds a BBA in Marketing and Branding and is Africa’s first and only certified Honey Sommelier and Honey Sensory Analyst, registered with the prestigious Italian National Register of Honey Sensory Experts. She uses honey as a lens through which to explore gastronomy, biodiversity, storytelling, and bee and pollinator conservation. Natasha is the co-creator and author of The Honey Bee Takes Flight, a limited-edition visual book inspired by Sharon Crouse’s extraordinary photography. Through rich visual storytelling, the book seeks to close the gap between scientific research and public understanding with extensive and well research information, drawing readers into the world of bees and pollinators while delivering an engaging and accessible conservation message central to Natasha’s speaking and sensory tasting experiences.
