Liesl Jobson writes from Zeekoevlei, Cape Town. Her work has appeared in journals such as The Southern Review, Flash Fiction International, and The Common. She is a contributor to The Creative Arts: On Practice, Making & Meaning. Her collection 100 Papers won the 2006 Ernst van Heerden Award and was translated into Italian. She is also the author of View from an Escalator, Ride the Tortoise, and three Book Dash children’s books. Liesl plays bassoon in southern African orchestras.
