Garreth van Niekerk, author of Veld – The gardens and landscapes of Patrick Watson, is a multi-award-winning journalist and curator whose work explores the intersection of landscape, design and architecture. He has created exhibitions for clients across the globe and his writing has appeared in numerous publications. He was awarded the Media24 Lifestyle Journalist of the year award, won gold at the Standard Bank Arts Journalist of the year and was a finalist and ‘highly commended’ by the CNN Multichoice African Journalist of the year.
