Bibi Slippers is a multidisciplinary creative practitioner. Her debut poetry collection, Fotostaatmasjien (2016), won four literary prizes. She has also been recognised as a journalist and short story writer, and nominated as a scriptwriter, TV presenter, and theatre maker. Her latest poetry collection, Soekenjin (Search Engine), explores desire and life in the age of the Internet of Things — a lyrical search for love, meaning, and self in a world of endless curiosity, distraction, and digital detours.
