Antjie Krog published her first poetry collection at 17 and has since released 13 more, including the internationally acclaimed Country of My Skull, a personal account of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Her work spans poetry, non-fiction, and translation, earning her numerous global awards. At this year’s festival, she launches Blood’s Inner Rhyme, her first adult book in nearly 15 years—a moving, sometimes hilarious story about a mother-daughter relationship and Afrikaner cultural and historical heritage.
