Julie Nxadi

Julie Nxadi, a contributor to The Interpreters, is a South African storyteller from Ngqushwa and Makhanda, now based in Cape Town. She holds a Master’s in Creative Writing (cum laude) from UWC, where she was a fellow in the Centre for Humanities Research. Her work has appeared in The Chimurenga Chronic, Mail & Guardian, JRB, and more, and has featured at major international festivals. She has also collaborated with artists like Dada Khanyisa and The Mushroom Half-Hour experimental jazz label.
