Lester Walbrugh is a writer, film producer and actor who lives and works in his hometown, Grabouw, in the Western Cape. In 2020 Karavan Press published a collection of his short stories, Let It Fall Where It Will, and in 2023 his debut novel, Elton Baatjies, was longlisted for the Sunday Times Literary Awards. In the realm of film, in 2020 Lester co-produced the award-winning indie film 2 Thirds of a Man.
