Herman Lategan is an award-winning journalist and author from Green Point. Over the years he has written for more than fifty magazines, newspapers and websites and published poetry and short stories. Herman also worked at e.tv for five years, and for a decade contributed content to several radio stations, including FMR and Cape Talk.
Herman’s newspaper columns were published in two books, Binnekring van Spookasems and Opstokers, Fopdossers en Tweegatjakkalse. In 2022 he released his memoir, Hoerkind: Die Memoires van ‘n Randeier which became an instant bestseller. An English translation will be released towards the end of 2023.
