Frans Rautenbach is an independent labour lawyer with an interest in economic policy, and the policy of labour law, especially how it affects poor people in South Africa.
He has written a number of books on the topic, including Liberating South African Labour from the Law, and South Africa Can Work. His latest book, Help Yourself South Africa: How Ordinary Citizens Can Help Reform Our Broken Economy was released early in 2023.
