Carlos Amato is an award-winning editorial cartoonist for the Mail & Guardian and News24. Formerly the editor of the Sunday Times Lifestyle magazine, he also writes journalism about football, culture, wildlife and the future. Born and raised in Cape Town, he later reappeared in Joburg, where he now lives with his wife and two sons.
