Amanda Botha is a journalist, documentary film director and writer with a long and distinguished career in the world of art, music, literature and the performing arts in general. She broke the story of the world’s first heart transplant as well as of the birth of the Rosenkowitz sextuplets and has also been at the forefront of two of South Africa’s most notorious murder stories – Robin Cohen and the so-called Scissors murder.
Amanda is the executor of Sheila Cussons’s literary estate and has collaborated on a number of publications of Sheila’s work. She also authored a book on the life of Phyllis Spira and Marjorie Wallace. Amanda is currently working on a book about Walter Meyer’s life and work as well as the definitive biography of Sheila Cussons.
