Troy Onyango presents a crash course in the techniques of short fiction, touching on plot, character, theme and style. Based in London and hailing from Kisumu, Kenya, Onyango has been shortlisted for the Caine Prize, and has won the inaugural Nyanza Literary Festival Prize. He is the founder of the literary journal Lolwe and his debut collection of short stories, For What Are Butterflies Without Their Wings, was published in 2022.
