Author Profile

MIKE NICOL

Margie OrfordMIKE NICOL works as a journalist and is the author of four novels, The Powers That Be, This Day and Age, Horseman and The Ibis Tapestry, and a crime novel, Out To Score, co-authored with Joanne Hichens. 

He has also written works of non-fiction and published two volumes of poetry. Mike teaches a course on writing a novel at UCT’s Centre for Creative Writing and recently ran a course on crime writing at the university’s Summer School. 

He lives in Cape Town.
