FRED KHUMALO

Fred KhumaloFRED KHUMALO is a journalism graduate of Tecknikon Natal and lives in Johannesburg.

He is the editor of the Insight & Opinion section of the Sunday Times and a respected columnist on the paper.

He was the joint winner of the 2005 European Union Literary Award for his first novel Bitches' Brew, and his powerful autobiography Touch My Blood, published in 2006, has received critical acclaim. He was also a runner up for the 1991 Nadine Gordimer Short Story Award.
